Journal office contact details
Email: support@ijei.org
Telephone: +91 70033 56833
For a written enquiry, use a clear subject line that identifies the topic. If you have already submitted a manuscript, include its title and submission ID. These details help the office distinguish your paper from other enquiries. You can also view the journal contact directory.
Research scope and pre-submission enquiries
IJEI is a multidisciplinary journal. If you are unsure whether your research fits, send a concise summary of the work before preparing a full enquiry. Include the proposed title, abstract, main subject area and the contribution of the study. For work connecting several disciplines, explain how those perspectives relate to the research question.
Read the research areas guidance and author guidelines first. A scope enquiry helps clarify suitability questions; it does not replace assessment of a complete manuscript or guarantee acceptance.
Questions about an existing submission
Check your author account and recent editorial correspondence before requesting an update. State the specific issue, such as a question about a revision request, contributor details or the status shown in your account. Include the submission ID and manuscript title, and identify any editorial message you are referring to.
The journal’s stated review timeline is 3 working days. This is not a guaranteed acceptance date or publication date. Consult the review process page for an explanation of assessment and revisions. Avoid uploading a duplicate manuscript simply to ask for progress information.
Publication fees and payment enquiries
The confirmed publication fee is INR 2,000. Contact the office for payment instructions, clarification of timing and questions about documentation. If an institution needs an invoice or receipt, explain its requirements before making arrangements. Read the publication fee information and ask about any terms that are unclear.
Technical support for authors
If you encounter a problem using the submission system, describe the step you were completing, the message displayed and the browser you were using. A clear description of whether the issue concerns signing in, uploading a manuscript or completing a form helps identify the problem. Do not send your account password or payment credentials.
Editorial and reviewer enquiries
For an enquiry about reviewing, provide your subject expertise, institutional affiliation and a short description of your research experience. Visit the editorial board page for the confirmed editorial names and further guidance. General questions about the newly launched journal may also be answered by the author FAQs.
